I went to the beach a while back with my fur cousins, Hank and Piper. You can see we had a great time.

Hank and Piper are pure breeds with AKC registration papers to prove it.

Hank Bacon

HankHank gets tons of attention from Boston Terrier lovers and Pit Bull fans.  He is so happy and people think he looks like a mini pibble too.  He works the attention for a ball toss and cookies.

PiperPiper gets tons of attention from pug people – some of them “Crazy” for sure.  She has a perfect cinnamon bun tail and cute floppy-over ears. She couldn’t care less unless you have meat in your hand.

Interestingly enough, when we hang out at the beach I get completely ignored. I’m all by myself barking at seagulls while people gush over Hank and Piper endlessly.

Beachy SashaI am not a spokes dog for any specific breed.  I’m a mongrel of suspected but unknown breeds. I’m ½ one thing and ½ of another.

You know what?

I don’t mind getting ignored because I know in my heart that Hank and Piper are wonderful with everyone, belong to my pack, and are great spokes dogs for their breeds. Most importantly, they are the best fur pals I have in the whole world.  Labels and papers can’t make that so.  It’s in their hearts.

I’m happy to be me. I rock my bits and pieces from many breeds – including extra-long ears. This makes me, at heart, a great spokes dog for all mongrels in the world.

What could be better than that?

Nothing I can think of!

They’re not ignoring you, Sasha…they’re just intimidated by your beauty & gorgeous ears!
